The Problem
Financial barriers restrict students in need from getting involved in the Jewish community. The rise of antisemitism on college campuses escalates this issue even further. Limited involvement leads to lack of leadership. With no leaders, there is no growth
Free Jewish activities only solve half the problem, while most scholarships have numerous pain points that cause additional barriers
Created by students, led by students- The Tisila Scholarship is uniquely designed to solve these pain points by utilizing an innovative selection process, creative structure, and custom leadership opportunities

Pronounced: “Tih-see-lah”
Inspired by our mission- Tisila get its name from the beginning, middle, and end syllables of three Hebrew words respectively:
